1. INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of one of the most
advanced, GPS friendly devices ever created –
Seidio’s G2350 car cradle for the Treo 650
Smartphone. It has been developed from the ground
up for both ease of use and maximum capability.
From the custom fit of the cradle to your Treo 650 to
the integrated SiRF Star III chipset, no compromises
in features or quality have been made. We sincerely
hope that you experience the same pleasure in using
this device as we have had in creating it for you.

3. INITIAL SETUP
Hardware
Step 1: Before you mount the cradle in your car, test to see that your Treo 650
slides easily and snugly into the cradle.
Caution: DO NOT force your Treo 650 into the cradle!
Step 2: Choose a place and method to mount the cradle.
Step 3: Insert the car charger into the 12V socket in your car and connect the
other end to the cradle connector labeled “Power In” (See diagram for reference).
Caution: DO NOT connect the power cable into the “DC Out”. Your
G2350 is now ready to go!
Step 4: By combining your cradle/Treo 650 with GPS navigation software, the
built-in SiRF Star III GPS receiver can locate where you are and determine the
best route to your intended destination.
Make the following adjustments to your GPS software settings:
COM port: COM1 or NMEA 0183
Baud Rate: 4800

4. FEATURES
4.1. 5V DC Out:
Additional port for powering your Palm Bluetooth headset.
Caution: DO NOT insert the power cable in DC Out. Doing so may cause damage to
the cradle or the Treo 650!
4.2. GPS:
Built-in SiRF Star III GPS receiver attached via serial connector to your
Treo 650.
4.3. Mounting Solutions:
Users can mount their cradles based on individual preferences with the
included mounting products. Also included in this package is a 360
degrees swivel adaptor to insure optimal driver/passenger viewing and
readability.
Note: It is normal for GSM phones to experience occasional interference. In areas with poor
signal, interference may be higher. In areas with strong signal, interference may be lower.

5. MOUNTING SOLUTIONS
5.1 Installing the Air Vent Pedestal
1) Slide the pedestal into your vehicle’s air vent and hook the locking clips
onto the back of the vent.
2) To secure the pedestal on the vent, squeeze the locking clips tightly
and slide the locks toward the vent.
3) Prop the hinged support arm against a firm base to securely angle the
unit up. Now you are ready to slide the cradle onto the pedestal.
5.2 Removing the Air Vent Pedestal
1) Push the bottom of the locks and unhook the clips from the back of the
vent.
2) Pull back and now you should have removed the pedestal successfully.
5.3 Using the Air Vent Pedestal + Swivel Adaptor
1) Attach the pedestal to the back of the swivel adaptor by sliding it in.
2) Slide your cradle onto the front of the swivel adaptor and you are ready
for optimal viewing accessibility.
5.4 Installing the Windshield Pedestal
1) Match the pegs on the AMPS/Locking plate to the pedestal.
2) Push hard on the AMPS/Locking plate until you hear a click.
3) Slide the pedestal into the back of the swivel adaptor.

4) Select a good spot on your windshield and press the suction cup firmly
against it.
5) Press down the latch to secure the suction cup. Slide your cradle on
the swivel adaptor. Mounting Installation is now complete.
