13. This heater is not intended for use in wet or
moist locations. Do not use this heater in the
immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower
or a swimming pool. Do not immerse or
allow liquids to be spilt on heater.
14. This heater has hot and arcing or sparking
parts inside. Do not use in areas where
petrol, paints, aerosols, or other inflammable
substances are used or stored.

1. Avoid touching heater body while it is on,
some parts of the heater are hot. When
moving the unit switch off and hold the
heater by the handles where provided.

cord damaged, frayed or split, wound around
any part of the heater, or in contact with
heated surfaces of the heater.

and other furnishings at least 1.7 metres
from the front, sides and rear of the heater.

concerning use of the appliance by a person

on/off switch to OFF, then switch off at the
power outlet then remove plug from its
outlet.

openings from time to time for accumulated

the power outlet then unplug heater from

to cool down before cleaning or storing.

will set the heater into the HIGH heat mode
(1800 watts), ‘HI’ and the current room
temperature will appear on the LED display.
23. Use this heater only as described in this
instruction manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacture may cause
fire electric shock or injury and voids all
warranties.
7. Pressing the Setting button again will set the
heater into the AUTO mode (1800 watts).
The LED will display the default temperature
of 25ºC and will flash. This flash indicates
you can set the desired temperature via the
thermostat knob on the top of the unit.
24. Regularly inspect the supply cord, plug,
control settings, air inlets and outlets and
main housing for any damage. If found
damaged in any way, immediately cease use
of the heater and return to Kambrook or an
authorised service agent for inspection or
repair.
25. The installation of a residual current device
(safety switch) is recommended to provide
additional safety protection when using
electrical appliances. It is advisable that a
safety switch with a rated residual operating
current not exceeding 30mA be installed in
the electrical circuit. See your electrician for
professional advice.
8. Pressing the Setting button once more will
set the heater into the FAN mode, ‘FA’ and
current room temperature will then appear
on the LED display. FAN mode is for fan-only
operation with no output of heat.
HOWtO OpERatE:
1. Remove your heater from its carton and
associated protective wrapping, and unwind
the cord to its full length and remove any
protective cardboard or foam that may
have been used to minimise transportation
damage. Place the heater on a firm, level
surface in a stable upright position. Visually
inspect the air inlet and outlets to ensure no
foreign material is blocking these areas. The
heater must always be operated with the
rear air filter in position.
9. Pressing the Setting button again will cause
the heater to go back to the LOW heat
mode. Continuing to press the Setting
button will cycle the unit through LOW,
HIGH, AUTO & FAN mode.
10. To turn the heater off, press the Setting
button for approximately two to three
seconds until you hear a ‘beep’. Turn off the
power on/off switch and power outlet and
remove the plug from the power outlet.
2. Plug the cord into a 230-240V electrical
outlet. Be sure the plug fits tightly as a loose
fit will cause overheating and damage the
plug. To avoid an electrical circuit overload,
it is recommended that no other appliances
are plugged into the same circuit with your
heater when you switch the unit on.
OsCILLatION FUNCtION:
This function will work in any mode. Pressing the
Oscillate button (OSC) will allow the heater to
oscillate back and forth.To stop the unit oscillating,
press the Oscillate button once more.
3. When the heater is initially plugged in and
the power switch is turned on at the rear of
the unit there will be a ‘beep’ and the power
indicator will light up. This indicates that the
unit is powered. The indicator will remain lit
until the power switch on the rear of the unit
is switched off.
4. Turn the heater on by pressing the Setting
button.
5. Upon turning the heater on, the unit will
be in the LOW heat mode (1100 watts),
‘LO’ and the current room temperature will
appear on the LED display.

CaRE aND maINtENaNCE
1. Press the Setting button until the heater is
set to the AUTO mode.
• Always turn off and then unplug the heater
before cleaning.
2. To adjust the set temperature, rotate the
Thermostat dial clockwise to increase the
desired temperature and counter-clockwise
to decrease the desired temperature.
• Use only a clean, dry cloth to clean the
external surfaces of the heater only.
• If the heater has collected dust or dirt inside
the unit or around the elements, have the unit
cleaned by a qualified service agent. Do not
operate the heater in this condition.
3. The desired temperature can be set between
15ºC and 38ºC.
4. When the air temperature reaches 2º above
the set temperature the heater will stop
heating at once and stop blowing after
approximately 15 seconds.
• Do not attempt to open the case of the heater
at any time there are no customer serviceable
parts inside
• When not in use, pack the heater, preferably
in its original box for best protection and
store in a cool, clean and dry location.
5. When the air temperature drops 1ºC below
the set temperature the unit will reactivate.
• Regularly clean the air filter at the rear of the
heater.
saFEtY FEatUREs:
This heater includes an audible alarm to warn
that parts of the heater are overheating. If this
alarm sounds, immediately turn the heater off
and inspect for any objects on or adjacent to
the heater that may cause high temperature. DO
NOT OPERATETHE HEATERWITHTHE ALARM
SOUNDING.

Your heater is fitted with a safety device
that switches off the heater in the event of
overheating. Should this heater stop working, turn
off the heater and inspect for blockages in air
inlet or outlets.Wait at least five minutes for the
protection system to reset before attempting to
restart the heater.
If the heater fails to operate or the safety device
switches off again, return the heater to your
nearest service centre for examination or repair.
