Fasten the m idrange through the plastic grille
tray with the screws and clips provided.
Press the m etal m esh in place in the tray.
Mounting the tweeter using the I-Mount
surface-m ounting kit.
Aim the tweeter at the listening position by
sliding the stud in the groove on the back of the
tweeter cup and rotating the entire assem bly in
the m ounting surface. Lock the tweeter in place
using the sm all retaining nut and the large plastic
m ounting nut.

Com ponent System s are designed to produce rea-
sonable volum e levels with little am plifier power.
However, the addition of an am plifier to drive
your speakers and a subwoofer will enhance the
dynam ic range of your system , and help over-
com e the am bient noise in a m oving vehicle.
Kappa speakers are designed to handle the power
of a dedicated am plifier driven at or below its
rated power. If an am plifier is driven far above its
rated power, the output signal will “clip,” and the
additional power present in a clipped signal can
dam age any speaker. Distorted or “fuzzy” sound
from your speakers is an indication that the am pli-
fier has exceeded its rated power, and you should
reduce the volum e level.
